A flower setup begins before the team reaches the venue. If you want to understand the work behind your wedding décor, ask the flower team to explain the order from start to finish. This is a guide to those questions, not a report of a particular workshop visit.
Start with the agreed design
Ask the team to show which parts need flowers. Name the entrance, mandap, stage, table areas and ceremony items separately.
Check the colours and materials for each part. A single mood picture can be useful, but it should not replace the list of work in your quotation.
Ask how flowers are chosen
Find out which flowers are planned for your date and how the team checks the delivered batch. Ask what happens if the colour or amount is different from the order.
Choose one person who can approve a change for the family. Keep that person's number with the team so they do not receive different answers from several relatives.
Understand the preparation
Some flower items may be made before delivery, while others may be finished at the venue. Ask which work applies to your design and how much time it needs.
If you want to visit or photograph the workshop, ask first. The people doing the work should decide whether they want their names and photographs shared.
Check the delivery plan
Ask when the team expects to arrive and whether the venue is ready for them. Share the correct entrance and the contact person who can open it.
Agree where flower materials can be kept. Do not put them in a path that guests or food staff need to use.
Leave time for a final check
Look at the main areas before guests arrive. Check the agreed colours, ceremony items and visible flower coverage. Raise any concern with the team lead so changes can be handled clearly.
Ask who removes hired structures and remaining materials after the event. Keep that part of the job in the quotation too.
Good questions make the work easier to understand. Keep the agreed flower list, delivery time and setup contact together. This helps the family and flower team follow the same plan.
