How long has Roy Events been organizing events in Pokhara?

Accepted Answer

Roy Events was started in 2016 by Alex Roy. Over the past 10 years, we have successfully decorated and managed more than 500 weddings and programs in Pokhara. Because we have our own big warehouse and workshop, we directly own all our stages, floral props, and lighting gear.

Question 4

How does the planning process work from start to finish?

Accepted Answer

We follow an easy 7-step process so you can relax: 1) You share your event date, location, guest count, and ideas; 2) We have a free consultation to understand your dream look; 3) We visit the venue to check space, electricity, and rain backup; 4) We send you a clear design plan and price quote; 5) We coordinate with photo, food, and music teams; 6) We set up everything early on the event day and ensure it runs smoothly; 7) We pack up neatly and ensure you are 100% happy.

Question 5

How early should we book our wedding or event date?

Accepted Answer

For weddings during the popular wedding season (October through April), we recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance so your preferred date and venue are secured. For company meetings, birthdays, or simple stage rentals, booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead is usually plenty of time.

Question 6

What destination wedding services do you provide in Pokhara?

Accepted Answer

If you are traveling to Pokhara for your wedding, we take care of the entire experience: helping you choose the best lake or mountain resort, arranging hotel rooms and transport for your guests, decorating stages and mandaps, organizing Haldi and Mehndi setups, setting up sound and DJ music, and making sure all your guests are comfortable.

Question 7

What are the different wedding decor packages you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer 6 simple decor packages to fit your style and budget: 1) Bronze: Stage backdrop or mandap, welcome board, and entrance gate; 2) Silver: Stage backdrop, mandap, welcome board, and gate with extra fresh flowers; 3) Gold: Larger stage, grander mandap, decorated gate, welcome board, and photo booth; 4) Platinum: Full venue flower decoration, walking aisle, photo booth, and hallway gates; 5) Diamond: Everything in Platinum plus a raised wooden stage platform and royal custom designs; 6) Custom: A 100% personalized design built from scratch for your venue and budget.

Question 8

Do you decorate for multi-day events like Haldi, Mehndi, and Sangeet?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We create fun, colorful themes for every ceremony: bright yellow marigold flower setups for Haldi, colorful cushions and cozy canopies for Mehndi, concert-style lights and great sound for Sangeet dance night, and elegant royal decorations for the main Wedding and Reception.

Question 9

Can we pick our own colors and flower themes for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! You can choose your favorite colors (such as coral red, warm ivory, soft blush pink, or royal gold) and flower types. You can share reference photos from Pinterest or Instagram, and our creative team will recreate that exact aesthetic for you, including custom name boards and fairy lighting.

Question 10

What happens if it rains during an outdoor wedding in Pokhara?

Accepted Answer

Pokhara weather can change quickly, so we always prepare a Plan B! For every outdoor lawn or lakeside event, we check if an indoor hall is available as backup, set up waterproof canopies or tents, raise the stage off wet grass, and keep a rapid-response team ready so your wedding stays beautiful, rain or shine.

Question 11

What corporate event management and stage services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We handle all the technical and setup work for business and school events: designing and building stages, setting up crisp microphones and speakers, installing bright LED display screens and projectors, setting up speaker podiums and VIP chairs, and building welcome registration desks.

Question 12

What kinds of business and school events do you manage?

Accepted Answer

We manage all kinds of professional programs: conferences, workshops, annual general meetings (AGMs), prize and award nights, new product launches, bank and showroom inaugurations, school and college graduations, and business networking dinners.

Question 13

Do you make event banners, standees, and attendee ID cards?

Accepted Answer

Question 14

Can you provide event hosts (emcees), DJs, and live music for programs?

Question 15

Can Roy Events help us find the best venue in Pokhara?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We know Pokhara's venues inside out. We help you choose the best hotel, resort, banquet hall, or open lawn depending on how many guests you have, your budget, parking needs, and whether you want a view of Fewa Lake or the Annapurna mountains.

Question 18

Question 19

Which services do you do directly, and which are done by partner teams?

Accepted Answer

We directly own and make all the main decor: stage backdrops, wedding mandaps, entrance gates, flower props, stage platforms, lights, and printed banners. For extra services like food catering, photography/video, and DJs, we work with trusted partner companies while supervising everything to make sure quality is top-notch.

Question 20

Accepted Answer

Our stages are made of strong 4x4 foot square blocks that we connect together like building blocks. We can make any size you need (such as 12x8 ft, 16x12 ft, or 24x16 ft) at heights from 1 foot up to 4 feet, complete with fresh carpet and safe steps. You can also use our free online Stage Calculator on this website to test different sizes!
