01Who we are
These terms form the service agreement between you (“Client”, “you”) and Roy Events Pvt. Ltd. (“Roy Events”, “we”, “us”) — a company registered in Nepal operating from Street 19, Nayabazar-9, Pokhara, Nepal (Services available across Nepal), VAT no. 623544967. Our sister workshop, Roy Flower Decoration (Nayabazar-9, Pokhara), fabricates stages, mandaps, entrance gates, and floral styling in-house with 30+ full-time craftsmen.
Contact the bookings desk at [email protected] or +977 9856026660 (WhatsApp available). These public terms are supplemented by your signed quotation, proposal, or invoice — where they differ, the signed document governs for your event.
02Services & scope
We plan full weddings and corporate events and design six decor tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Custom Bespoke — plus stage backdrops, mandaps, entrance gates, photo booths, welcome boards, aisles, table seating, and ceiling/truss decor.
- Included by default: complete fabrication, ambient lighting, floral styling, delivery, on-site supervision, and dismantling (per your quotation inclusions).
- Not included by default: venue rental, generator fuel, municipal permits, and crew lodging outside Pokhara Valley — itemized separately when applicable.
- Photography-only bookings: a separate 50% advance applies to lock the camera crew; do not confuse with decor milestones in §4.
03Booking & deposit
- NPR 10,000 booking deposit locks your date on the master production calendar. No date is held on inquiry alone.
- A Senior Planner contacts you within 24 hours to confirm scope, venue feasibility, and next milestone.
- Peak-season weddings (October–April, especially Mangsir / Magh / Falgun / Baisakh) should book 6–12 months ahead; corporate and stage builds need 2–4 weeks; custom mandaps need minimum 3 days.
- Your digital or wet-ink approval records the agreed scope — production is locked per the agreed deposit and commercial terms.
04Payment milestones
Our public payment schedule is simple and clear:

Final settlement — remaining 25%
Due on the event date itself, or via post-dated cheque dated within 7 days after the event. Cleared on flawless completion of all decor and staging.

Fresh-flower prices and peak-date availability move fast — expired quotes are re-priced transparently, never silently inflated.
06Change orders
- Any addition, swap, or scope change after approval needs a written change order — WhatsApp, email, or signed addendum — with price and timeline impact stated upfront.
- Verbal on-site requests are confirmed in writing before fabrication; rush changes inside 72 hours may carry express-sourcing fees.
- Reducing scope does not automatically reduce sourced-material costs already committed — your planner shows the math line by line.
07Venue & weather
- Rain Plan B finalized 48 hours prior for outdoor lawn weddings — indoor-hall backup, waterproof canopies/tents, raised stage, and rapid-response crew, provided on request.
- Venue checks cover power/generators, truck unloading, build hours, wind/rain structural safety, and elderly access/parking.
- Structural canopies and waterproofing solutions are quoted separately when the venue has no covered backup.
08Cancellation & reschedule
Draft placeholders — owner & lawyer sign-off required
- Reschedule first: one good-faith date move (subject to availability) with deposit carried as credit, when you notify us early in writing.
- Actual-cost recovery: sourced flowers, custom fabrication, and committed vendor advances already spent are non-refundable and shown with receipts.
- Sliding goodwill credit [TBD]: the closer to the event you cancel, the lower the refundable balance — final slabs to be set by management and counsel before publish.
We will always prefer a fair reschedule over a forfeiture. No percentages above are final until your signed quotation states them.
09Photos & IP
Your celebration stays private by default. We publish identifiable photos, names, or venues only with your separate written, WhatsApp, or email consent — full showcase, decor-only close-ups, masked names, blurred faces, or complete privacy, your call (see our privacy policy §8).
Decor concepts, 3D renders, and workshop fabrication methods remain our intellectual property; your personal photos remain yours. Withdraw showcase consent anytime via [email protected].
10Liability & safety
- We deliver with professional skill and care: owned stages, truss, lighting, and fresh florals installed and supervised by our in-house team.
- Client-supplied items (heirloom decor, outside vendor props) are handled carefully but at your risk unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Force majeure — extreme weather beyond Plan B, earthquakes, strikes, or government orders — pauses obligations without penalty; we re-plan in good faith.
- Nothing here limits your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2075.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal — including the Contract Act 2056 (offer, acceptance, consideration), the Consumer Protection Act 2075 (quality service and remedy), the Privacy Act 2075 (portfolio consent), and the Electronic Transactions Act 2063 (electronic records and signatures). Jurisdiction lies with the competent courts and consumer bodies of Kaski District, Pokhara, without preventing you from seeking statutory consumer remedies elsewhere as the law allows.
12Changes & contact
Material updates get a new “Last updated” date above and, for open bookings, a direct notice. Continued planning after the date means you accept the update.
