If you chose a venue for its mountain outlook, ask how the wedding setup will frame that view. A tall backdrop can hide the part of the setting you liked most. Start with a visit and a clear plan rather than adding a structure by habit.
Find the view from the ceremony area
Stand where the couple and guests will be. The view from a hotel terrace or website photograph may not be the same as the view from the booked event space.
Ask the venue to show the exact area included. Check fixed walls, trees and other objects that may affect the picture.
Ask what the backdrop needs to do
Some families need a covered ceremony area. Others mainly need a background for portraits. These are different jobs.
Discuss a design that meets the actual need. A lower flower area or an open frame may be worth considering, but its size and fixing must be checked by the responsible team for that site.
Plan for people as well as scenery
Ask the photographer where they want the couple to sit or stand. Check whether the guests face the light comfortably and can see the ceremony.
A mountain view should not make elders sit in an awkward place or leave people walking through the photo frame. Keep access and seating in the same drawing as the décor.
Visit at a useful time
If possible, see the space near the planned ceremony hour. Note the light and shade. Ask about the conditions the venue has observed, but do not turn those comments into a promise about your date.
Nepal Tourism Board describes the Annapurna range as a key part of Pokhara's setting. Mountain visibility still depends on the day's weather.
Make a plan for cloud or rain
Choose a setup you will enjoy even if the mountains are not visible. Agree on a covered layout if the outdoor space cannot be used.
Use the view as one part of the celebration, alongside the family, ceremony and meal. Keeping the décor simple may help show the place clearly, but comfort and a workable plan should guide the final choice.
