Hotel Pokhara Grande lists several event halls on its official website. That gives a family more than one room to ask about. The next step is to choose a hall around the wedding plan, rather than around the largest advertised guest number.
Begin with the official hall list
The hotel website lists Manaslu, Annapurna, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri and Lamjung. Ask the hotel which rooms are currently offered for your date and event type. Names, prices and available spaces should be confirmed directly.
The published capacities are useful for an early enquiry. They do not show how much room your mandap, buffet or photo area will use.
Send the hotel a clear brief
Share the expected guest count and whether the ceremony and meal happen together. Say if any relatives need an easier route with fewer steps.
Explain the main décor items you want. A stage for family photographs and a mandap for a ceremony serve different needs. The room plan should show both if both are part of the day.
Ask to see the whole route
Visit the proposed entrance, hall, toilets and dining area. Check whether guests need to change floors or walk outdoors between parts of the event. Ask where cars or buses can stop.
If family members will stay at the hotel, check how they reach the hall from their rooms. Confirm room bookings separately unless the written package clearly includes them.
Agree on supplier work
Ask when the décor team can enter and how large items reach the room. Check storage space and removal times. Any ceremony using fire, smoke or special equipment needs an agreement with the hotel before setup.
Request the final drawing from the teams involved. Check doors, walking paths, family seats and food service on the same plan.
Keep the final choice in writing
- Name the hall and every extra space included.
- Record the layout and agreed guest count.
- List the meal, furniture and setup hours.
- Confirm the covered arrangement for any outdoor part.
- Keep payment and change terms with the plan.
This guide is based on the hotel's public information, not a new site inspection. Before booking, ask the hotel to confirm the details for your own wedding date.
