A party palace and a resort can both work for a wedding. The better choice depends on your family. Before comparing prices, decide who is coming, who needs a room and where the ceremony and bhoj will happen.
Begin with the guests
Make two lists: guests who will return home after the meal, and guests who need to stay. Add children, elders and anyone who needs help with travel.
If many guests live nearby, a venue close to them may make the day easier. If relatives are coming from another city, ask about rooms at the venue and nearby hotels. Do not assume that booking an event hall also books bedrooms.
Compare the same wedding plan
Send each venue the same guest count, meal needs and event hours. Say whether you need one space or separate areas for the ceremony and dining.
Ask each place to show a seating plan. Compare the space left after the mandap or stage is added. A larger building does not always give you a better layout for your day.
Add travel and stay to the cost
A venue price alone cannot show the full cost. Add rooms, transfers, food outside the main meal and any extra supplier travel. Include the journey back after the event.
Pokhara Grande advertises rooms and event halls. Rupakot advertises accommodation and indoor and outdoor event spaces in Rupa, Kaski. These offers give families options, but current prices and available rooms need a direct check.
Ask about décor work
Find out whether you can bring your chosen team. Ask when they may enter, where materials can be kept and when they must leave. Check whether the quotation includes furniture, lights or a stage.
Do not compare one venue's full meal package with another venue's room-only price. Ask for a written list of what each total covers.
A simple way to decide
- Will guests reach it without a difficult journey?
- Does the layout fit the ceremony and meal?
- Can people who need rooms stay nearby?
- Is there an agreed covered option?
- Does the full cost fit your budget?
Choose the place that answers your family's needs clearly. A venue does not need to be the biggest or most expensive to be a good fit.
