Pokhara has several very different settings for a wedding. A hotel in Lakeside, a property in Sarangkot and a resort in the Rupa hills will not give guests the same journey. Start with the places people need to reach, then compare the views.
Put the event places on one map
Mark the ceremony, meal, hotel rooms and arrival point. If guests will travel between them, add that journey too. Check the exact property pin with the venue.
Nepal Tourism Board describes Phewa, Begnas and Rupa as separate lakes. Avoid calling every property around these lakes a Lakeside venue. The address matters when you share directions.
Think about a city stay
For a Lakeside venue, check where guests can stay and how they will reach the event entrance. Being in the same area does not always mean a short or easy walk. Visit the route if walking is part of your plan.
Ask about vehicle stopping points and evening pick-ups. Confirm whether a quiet place is available for guests who need a break.
Check the hill journey
Hotel Annapurna View's official information places it in Sarangkot. Rupakot's own event page gives its address as Rupa-6, Maidan, Kaski. Ask each property about the current approach road and suitable vehicles for your guest group.
Do not use a travel time from an old review as your wedding-day promise. Ask the driver to plan the route and allow extra time for the actual date and departure point.
Match the stay to the day
If the ceremony begins early, would it help to stay nearby the night before? If the meal ends late, how will guests return? Ask about room availability before assuming everyone can sleep at the event property.
Make a plan for luggage and for guests who arrive before their rooms are ready.
Choose the setting that works
Compare the full journey, room needs, ceremony space and covered option. Ask your elders how they feel about the travel. Check the cost of transfers as well as the venue quote.
Mountain and lake views depend on the weather. Pick a place where the family can still enjoy the day if the view is hidden by cloud.
